    Hello to all.

So my brother bought a cr 125 and first of all i wanted to check the VIN numbers but cant seem to find them, where are they ?

Also here is a picture, what is this plate next to the gear shifter its has some numbers underneath it, we thought this was the VIN number but searches are coming back completely wrong so if it aint the VIN number what is it ?

Sorry for the complete lack of knowledge but im trying.

the plate on the engine carries the engine number. there is no VIN number as such, but the frame will carry a number on it somewhere..

The frame number is on the headstock. If you PM me it I should be able to tell you the year.

If you want to Id. the year of the bike, just post a full photo and i'm sure it'll be worked out. Honda made several changes around that time. From the first photo, my thoght is 1998-1999, and you can tell those apart from several other factors.
