they eat gear boxes
I just bought one yesterday, on an 04 plate DCI100, but noticed it won't rev past 4000 rpm is this normal or should it go all the way up ??? Was thinking air flow meter or EGR valve if this wasn't the norm. Cracking little van apart from that still feels quick getting to the 4000 right enough.
When EGR valves fails on traffics the van run sluggish on the low revs, slight hesitation.
They can be cleaned out or blanked off.
Air flow meter normally put the engine management light on?
Doesn't sound right to me,
I had a vivaro (same van) and it used to rev all the way. not that i used to rev past 3.5 very often anyway. Google it, i am sure someone will have had this issue
It's easier to get forgiveness than permission
sounds about the same
yes mate is normal an very annoying.. had my mate remap my trafic now it revs to 4500 and drive like it should of not flat and guttless like they are.. if yor interseted in getting yours done p.m me... you can try mine first if ya like!!

Never take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night !
I just bought a 2003 vivaro about a hour ago, just got back from taking it for a good run and it revs like normal and flys compared to the Transit I had.
