Rear shock help

I have brought this shock I have taken the spring off to check it out but is the shock meant to come out this slow?

Surely the damper will be slow without the spring fitted?

Exactly, if it flew out it wouldn't stop the spring returning to fast would it.

i have been given a shock but it dont fit my bike as its off a husky cr 125 94 mine is a honda cr 125 94. Anyway would i be able to use the spring off the husky on my shock as the spring is not stock as mine is?

that'll be why you canceled your bid today!if you had said it was a honda id have told you they dont fit,both call there mx bikes cr.good luck finding a honda one,im sure theres plenty out there.
