    Dyclofenac Sodium (anti inflammatory).

Reduced the pain by 80% ish overnight. Brilliant stuff.

if they really are cracked/broken it will be six weeks, and in between that you will struggle to sleep at night because you will be lying on one side for too long.

And be careful when you sneeze you might have to find a wall to rest against because the pain will knock you sideways!

That is if they really are cracked/broken otherwise a simple muscle tear will take a couple of weeks.

Yeh sneezed before takin any tablets and near enough put me on the floor and I thought I had a good pain threshold!!

The sleeping bit is ok - just no strength and the pain when you cough is unbearable

Ah you know your stuff! I never go hospital or doctors - bloody hate the places but went after hours hospital to get some tablets for this. They've put me on that, 1 x 400mg Ibofen and 2 x 500mg Cocodemal or however its spelt.

Im high as a kite right now so seems to be working a trick :-)

If you need to sneeze or cough, I found hugging a pillow into my stomach really helped.
I waited until I could pull a wheelie on a mountain bike before getting back on the motocross bike. But if a championship is at steak, I know you'll not want to miss it. Good Luck Bud.

    Dean,
Healing times vary from person to person and they also get longer with age. So considering how old you are, you can expect to be in pain for a fair old while . Anyway, it doesn't sound like you'll be able to ride on that cocktail of drugs they gave you, so either you ride in a little(?) pain or you're there just to help out your boy. Either way, see you Sunday.
Give a man a match, and he'll be warm for a minute, but set him on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
