Default Advice please

Good morning i'm after some advice on a riding issue and need to know if its me or a set up problem please.
Whenever i leave the take off side of a jump big or small the back wheel always seems to end up realy high and i end up front wheel landing and to be honest its gettimg bloody frightening.
I've come into mx from 25 years riding on tarmac and have been trying to get things sussed out but it's time to say Help please before i bust myself up real bad.
Thanks in advance
Del

Thanks guys
oolie i think you may have sussed it,i got on the bike yesterday and my brother inlaw checked my foot position.when im standing i'm taking the play out of the brake pedal without realising it.so i'll adjust its height a bit and pay more attention to where my foot is when riding.

don't know if it's a bad technique but i do most of my riding on my toes, so toe on pegs, and then move my feet when i need a gear or rear brake, i am then also able to hold the bike from my heels up.

Toes on pegs is recommended by Gary Semics, renowned coach. It provides an additional leverage point through the ankle and also protects your feet from roots or rocks during enduro. does take getting used to though and I am still trying to make it second nature.

As said above, I have been to n-gage for some training. You are meant to ride on the ball of your foot
